Levi J. Burr is a versatile and adventurous Australian musician whose unique sound blends the timeless qualities of country blues, ambient, and fingerstyle guitar music into serene yet evocative pastoral soundscapes.

It was even chosen as one of the Best Country Music Releases on Bandcamp in June 2024, a testament to Burr’s growing recognition in the scene. His second LP, Bucolic Confection, which was released digitally on October 27, 2024, showcases his continued evolution as an artist.
The album, which features collaborations with ambient and experimental music greats such as Seawind of Battery, The Far Sound, and D. Bruce Aitken, was also named one of the best psych releases for October 2024 by The Third Eye, alongside being featured on several year-end lists.
The album Bucolic Confection also includes the deeply moving song “Ledford Guild,” a tribute to his dear friend, musician Duane Ledford, who tragically passed away due to cancer in 2023. The song is a heartfelt homage to Ledford, encapsulating the grief and love Burr feels for a friend whose influence is felt in both Burr’s music and his life.
With a third LP slated for release in 2025, Burr is poised to continue expanding his sonic universe. Featuring contributions from Mike ‘Slo-Mo’ Brenner (Magnolia Electric Co.), Howard Hughes Suite, and The Far Sound, his upcoming album promises to explore new terrain while staying true to the authentic, earthy sound that has made Burr a standout artist in the world of ambient country and experimental music.
